Random House Publishing looked to capitalize on the strengths of one of their most prolific authors, Dean Koontz, whose readers have a fanatic appreciation for his work. Dean has been writing for almost half a century, and currently has well over 100 titles to his credit. Seeking to aggregate a large portion of Koontz's readership into an online community just made sense, especially with the growing popularity of his Odd Thomas series. Advocates belonging to this Community recommend books to their peers offline, as well as share reviews and their own works of fiction on the web. Fancorps was ecstatic to take our first step into the publishing realm by solidifying a relationship with such commendable talent as Dean Koontz and Random House Publishing.
